North Woods® Gear Lube is a solid film, highly viscous lubricant for use on chains, cables, wire ropes, sprockets, industrial machinery, and heavy construction equipment. Gear Lube has excellent stretching characteristics that allow surfaces to be completely covered with lubricant extending life of machinery and reducing time and maintenance.

Gear Lube Uses/Benefits:

  • Use for:
    • Open gears, chains, cables, wire ropes
  • Protects against rust and corrosion by repelling water
  • Effective temperature range: 20ºF - 175ºF

Directions for Use:

Shake can well before using. Remove protective cap. Hold can 6 to 8 inches from surfaces to be sprayed. Apply an even coat to surface. Turn on machinery and allow lubricant to spread over all working surfaces. Apply a second thinner coating to insure adequate lubrication. Reapply as needed to lubricate and protect equipment. After spraying, turn can upside down and spray until nozzle is clear
